Local | The Los Angeles County Irish Fair & Music Festival  will take place this weekend at the Pomona Fairplex, 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona. Festivities will include an Irish Village and marketplace; children’s activities; traditional dance; contests; sheep herding demonstrations; and  music from the Dublin 4, Mulligans, Skelpin, Wrath of McGrath, Twilight Lords, Muses and Banshee in the Kitchen. Cost: $16, adults; $14, seniors and military; free, 11 and younger; $26, two-day pass

Airline news |  Qantas grounded its fleet of Airbus A380 jumbo jets earlier this week after two of the jets had faulty fuel readings, and a third was delayed in London because of a ground-steering problem, according to the Australian. Read: “Qantas steps up inspections after faulty reading”

Cathay Pacific has apologized to its customer whose major tantrum at Hong Kong International Airport over a missed flight was caught on tape by an employee and then put up on YouTube. Although the airline worker was not the one to put the video up on YouTube, the three-minute video, “A woman missed her flight at the boarding gate HKIA” has already had nearly 5 million views.
