Roundup: Obama going on vacation in Hawaii; Get your GPS off your windshield; Olympics IQ test

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., boards his campaign charter jet at the airport in Gary, Ind.

Good morning, travelers! Are you getting in the Olympic spirit? We have a quiz to get you tuned up. Don’t forget you can get your Olympic fix on the Olympics Blog: Ticket to Beijing.

Presidential travel | President Bush is traveling to Thailand this week with First Lady Laura Bush and their daughter Barbara before going to the opening ceremonies for the Summer Olympics in Beijing.  Meanwhile, presidential candidate Barack Obama is taking some time off the campaign trail to unwind in Hawaii. He’s flying into Honolulu and has at least one political fundraiser planned for Aug. 12 at the Kahala Resort. Do you have any travel tips for either of them? I’d be impressed if  Bush went to the Khao San Road and sampled something off a bug cart.

I’d recommend that Senator Obama (and fam) gives the Dolphin Quest a try at the Kahala. I did that myself last year and it was really well done. It was an amazing experience to get to learn more about dolphins and swim with them.
