Mexico | The drug war in Mexico continues, with 10 killed Thursday in one state over 24 hours, according to “Another bloody night in Sinaloa, Mexico.” Thousands, mostly law enforcement officials and those involved in the drug cartels, have been killed as a result of the violence this year.
Santa Barbara | If you’re planning a stay at the Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore anytime soon, you’re in for a treat at its newly opened Tydes Restaurant and Bar. With a renowned chef at the helm, its menu — woven with Mediterraean, French and Moroccan influences, among others — sounds quite divine. Read Daily Dish blog post “Santa Barbara gets even more exclusive with Tydes and chef Pilar Sanchez” for more. The restaurant, with reportedly stunning coastal views, is now open only to resort guests and club members.
