Climbing News | 11 climbers have been declared dead on K2, the world’s second-highest peak. Most of the deaths this weekend resulted from an icefall near the summit that sliced through the climbers’ fixed ropes. The Pakistani military has been making rescue attempts and saved two Dutch climbers. Everest News has a list of climbers who have died or were injured.
