If your hotel or family’s guest room comes sans wireless Internet access, fret not: Chances are you won’t be too far away from one of an increasing number of familiar chain establishments around the country that offer free WiFi to customers.

also, please consider the many non-chain independent coffeeshops and cafes that provide wi-fi access while more directly supporting their local economies — wherever it is our travels carry us.
