Pope Benedict XVI arrived in Washington, D.C., Tuesday. This is his first trip to the United States as pontiff, but his sixth visit to the States. The pope will be in Washington, D.C., April 15-17 before traveling to New York for three days. According to the Washington Post, traffic in D.C. is already getting thick. If you want to fight the crowds to see Pope Benedict, here are your papal resources for his visit in D.C.

April 15 | Pope Benedict XVI arrived on an Alitalia flight nicknamed “Shepherd One,” and was greeted at Andrews Air Force Base by President Bush, First Lady Laura Bush and several church officials.
April 16 | His birthday! Visit to the White House and a meeting with the U.S. bishops at Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
April 17 | The Catholic University of America, Pope John Paul II Cultural Center
