Pi Day: Where is 3.14, 3.14 in longitude, latitude?

It’s Pi-Day today! Never heard of it? Who cares…it’s fun, 3.14, March 14! Web Scout tells us why this is so important in the web world today. To celebrate, we looked up the intersection of longitude 3.14 and latitude 3.14 and found it located just off the west coast of central Africa.

This is not to be confused with National Pie Day, Jan. 23. So, who has the best pie in the country? Bill and Barbara Windsor took a trip around America and rated the best pies they found. You can also check out the Serious Eats Pie Honor Roll.

This year, the National Pie Championships will be held April 18-20 in Kissimmee, Florida.
