If you’re looking for a couple of relaxing days of pool-soaking time in Palm Springs and surrounds, now is the time to go. The end of the sizzling-hot low season will come to an end soon, so pack a wide-brim hat and grab a good deal before the temperatures drop and the tourists start flocking again.
Here are a few of the current promotions:
Viceroy Palm Springs: For stays Sunday through Thursday nights, the “Breathe Easy” package offers 25% off the whole enchilada — room, spa services, onsite meals and beverages and the resort fee (normally $24 per day, and that includes parking). This is a nonrefundable offer that must be fully paid at time of booking. Full-price rates start at around $230 (pre-tax) per night.

Courtyard Palm Springs: This Marriott hotel’s special package for golfers includes the following, for rates starting at $149 to $189 per night (pre-tax): room, two daily rounds of golf at Tahquitz Creek Palm Springs, plus breakfast and lunch daily for two. This deal is valid for stays now through Sept. 25, 2008. Use promotion code ‘G4X.’

Colony Palms Hotel: Book a Friday and Saturday night at the regular rate here and add a Thursday and/or Sunday for $99 per night (pre-tax). Ask for the “$99 Add-on Special.” Regular weekend rates start at $129 per night.

Parker Palm Springs: The Parker is still offering its phenomenal midweek deals, which I’ve previously posted about: one for foodies and another for spa junkies.
