Oktoberfest is well underway in Munich. The 175-year-old tradition started Sept. 20th, but if you’re in Germany, you still have nine days to hit the tents and fill your steins with Bavarian beer. What about Bavarian beer all year round? It’s true, you can enjoy a German beer garden year round with Viator’s Bavarian Beer and Food Evening Tour in Munich.

Deal: For $37, Viator will take you on a culture-rich history tour of Bavarian food and drink. Save your appetite, because travelers will get to sample a generous food platter in the city’s oldest beer hall, including Weisswurst veal sausage, dumpling, roast pork, the celebrated Obatzda cheese and more.

Blackout dates: Christmas holiday — Dec. 24, 2008 to Jan. 1, 2009

SoCal travel tip: You don’t need to go all the way to Germany to enjoy Oktoberfest. Here are some events from Torrance to Big Bear that can be enjoyed throughout October. Read: Get your Oktoberfest buzz in Southern California
