Oktoberfest parties in San Diego

German Club San Diego Oktoberfest photoNo worries if you can’t make it to Germany for Oktoberfest, San Diego is having their own Oktoberfest celebrations only a few hours away. La Mesa hosts the largest festival in the La Mesa Village, but there will also be later & brats and German music in El Cajon, Carlsbad, Encinitas and Julian.

La Mesa - 200,000 people turn out for a town street festival to celebrate this German holiday.
Dates: Oct. 5 – 7, 2007
Time: Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.; Sunday Noon till 6:00 p.m.

El Cajon – Hosted by the German American Societies of San Diego
Dates: Sep. 28, 29, and 30, and Oct. 5, 6, and 7 2007
Time: Fridays from 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.; Saturdays Noon - 10:00 p.m.; and Sundays Noon - 9:00 p.m.

Carlsbad – Put on by the Rotary clubs of Carlsbad at Holiday Park.
Dates: Saturday, October 6th, 2007
Time: 1:00 - 10:00 P.M.

Encinitas – This is the 13th annual Oktoberfest for Encinitas
Dates: Sunday Oct. 23, 2007
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
