
As if beaches and waterfalls, “velvety-green mountain palisades” and $12 shrimp plates weren’t dishy enough reasons to visit Oahu, Hawaii, how about this: Stay in a hotel partnering with the Oahu Visitors Bureau for its “Travel Pink! Travel Oahu” promotion, and you can luxuriate while supporting the fight for a breast-cancer cure. This travel program is a benefit for nonprofit organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and here are just a few of the “pink” packages being offered by hotels partnering with the organization:
Aqua resorts: Book three nights at any of Aqua’s six hotels, and under the “Pamper Me Pink” package, you’ll receive, a 60-minute massage and a “health-and-wellness” bag. The package starts at $136 per night (pre-tax), and a portion of proceeds from your stay will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa: This hotel, which is making a donation to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is offering a wellness-oriented package with the following goodies: yoga mat, tote bag decorated with a breast cancer ribbon, a breast cancer awareness bracelet and cloisonné pin, a $20 spa discount coupon and 20% off lunch at Rainbow Lanai restaurant. Rates start at $229 per night (pre-tax); a three-night minimum stay is required. The promotion code is “P0.”

Also, if you stay here during October, a portion of the proceeds from your stay will be contributed to the Komen foundation.

As with the Waikiki Parc, if you stay at the Halekulani during October, a portion of the proceeds from your stay will be contributed to the Komen foundation.
