Miley Cyrus’ dad to join her onstage at Disneyland Sweet 16 birthday party
Never mind that her birthday isn’t for seven more weeks, Miley Cyrus and 5,000 of her biggest fans will celebrate her Sweet 16th at Disneyland on Sunday with an exclusive, celebrity-studded party.
The Anaheim theme park will close to regular visitors at 5 p.m. to make way for the privileged few who plunked down $250 a ticket (or more) to party with the “Hannah Montana” star.
The festivities start at 6 p.m. with a red carpet affair on Main Street U.S.A. in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, featuring Disney Channel stars and other young Hollywood types. Expect the celebrities to be whisked in through backstage rather than the main gate — meaning no looky-loos or photo ops for nonpaying fans.
At 8:15 p.m., Miley Cyrus and “friends” (think Disney singing stars) will perform a 45-minute show on the Fantasmic stage of Tom Sawyer’s Island while fans watch from the Frontierland side of the Rivers of America. Miley Cyrus is expected to sing four songs. She’ll “share the stage” with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, but no word yet on whether they’ll sing the duet “Ready, Set, Don’t Go.”
After the concert, the party festivities will be centered in Frontierland and New Orleans Square with interactive activities and special food offerings. Indiana Jones Adventure and Pirates of the Caribbean will be open along with other select rides in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland (including Space Mountain, intermittently).
Miley fans have been promised a “special” fireworks finale at 10:45 p.m. before the evening wraps up at 11 p.m.

oh god this is ridiculous
she is selling the tickets for 250 OR MORE! instead of doing it a little cheaper in order for those that arent RICH to be able to attend!
so unlike the jonas brothers!
they do free concerts all the time!

miley cyrus is a big fat meanine because she has fake hair, real ugly teeth and cant get a boyfriend to save her life!!! Also she looks like she is dating her father in some pics! She cant really sing but somehow i like her songs. Crazy stuff!!!:p Anyway to conclude she is a again a big fat meanie and is just jealous of selena gomez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cinSin miley’s not the one selling tickets someone else iz an the jonas brothers dont do concerts 4 free 1 was like almost 400 a ticket.i h8 their music.

i dont like miley really much but shes kind of taking her party out of the range it should be in. SHES ALREADY FAMOUS! why wouldn’t she just want to spend her birthday with her close friends instead of having to entertain over 2000 people. She thinks shes all that for this party. sorry she’s not she’s just another person having a sweet 16 i sure would not want to go to her party for her I would go for the other celebs gonna be there. ITS LIKE ANOTHER CONCERT! get over it!

This is absurd! Do you people realize your kissing the butt of a 16 year old? I have never seen so many butt kissers in one place at one time, is all of LA like this? Do you kiss all the stars butts? Get a life of your own instead of worshiping the stars and making them think they are gods gift to the world.

I took my daughter to this “event”. I feel like a sucker. It was a TV production. Disney promoted it as an “charity party”, the main purpose was to film it for broadcast. I’m a sucker to pay $250/ticket for the privilege of being an “extra”. We were herded like cattle and had to stay in roped-off areas during the 1st segment of filming-we had no choice. It was VERY MISREPRESENTED.
