If you’re planning a stay at a Pueblo Bonito resort in Mexico anytime soon, you won’t want to miss out on an easy way to save 50 bucks, with just a couple clicks and 140 or so characters. With popular, typically well-rated properties in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and the Riviera Nayarit, Pueblo Bonito is offering a little discount for the social-media-savvy.
Deal: Book a minimum of three nights at any Pueblo Bonito property and you’ll receive a $50 food and beverage voucher by doing one of the following two things: Send a message via Twitter to @PuebloBonito, or become a fan of Pueblo Bonito on the company’s Facebook page and scrawl a message on its wall.
After you do so, someone from Pueblo Bonito will respond with your $50 voucher. Prior to your hotel stay, you will have to send an e-mail to credit@pueblobonito.com with your booking details and a copy of the voucher, according to a hotel spokesperson. The voucher can be redeemed at any Pueblo Bonito Oceanfront Resorts and Spas property.
Once you’re in Pueblo Bonito’s social-media circles, you don’t get free cocktails or anything else as far as we know. But you can more easily keep abreast of the hotels’ latest deals. For instance, on both the Twitter and Facebook pages, you’ll see mention of promotions offering 35% off new reservations booked online.
When: The social-media deal ends Dec. 31, 2009. But as a “follower,” you will be informed of other offers if and when they come up.
