No, this isn’t a post about a restaurant week. Rather, the Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau’s new campaign is more set to whet your appetite for a relaxing, pampering resort getaway.
Under the “Los Cabos a la Carte” promotion, a number of hotels in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo and the corridor in between are offering some attractive packages, a few examples of which are below:
Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort
Its “Fun in the Sun” package is offering rates starting at $179 per night (pre-tax) for a room; with that you get a $100 daily resort credit. A three-night minimum stay is required. You can book through the hotel’s website or over the phone.
When: Valid for stays through Dec. 17, 2009.
Note: This hotel has a number of online specials going, so check them all out before booking. For instance, if you’re not one to fully utilize a resort credit, you might opt for the “limited time only” deal of $99 per night (pre-tax) for a room and breakfast buffet for two. (This one’s good through Sept. 7, 2009.)

Cabo Villas Beach Resort & Spa
The “Escape to the Beach” package here consists of a three-night stay for two people, for $550 total (including taxes). Along with your double-occupancy room, you get daily breakfast buffet for two, welcome drinks, 20% off treatments at the onsite spa and 15% off onsite food and beverages. This offer isn’t on the hotel’s website, so you must book over the phone.
When: Valid for stays through Dec. 15, 2009.

Las Ventanas al Paraiso
This luxe resort is offering discounted rates, starting at $515 per night (pre-tax). Book a three-night minimum stay before Oct. 14, 2009, and receive a $200 resort credit, a room upgrade upon availability at check-in and daily breakfast for two. On the hotel’s website, this is the “Rosewood Escapes” offer.

RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas
If your leanings are toward all-inclusives, consider RIU’s “June Vacation Special,” which starts at $115 per person per night. That includes taxes, food and beverages; access to a gym, children’s club, disco, tennis courts and more; an in-room liquor dispenser, and a mini-bar with refreshments.
When: Valid for stays through June 25, 2009.
Tested: I researched two nights in late June, and the rate seemed to be readily available, giving me a total price of $460 for two people for the stay.
