Los Angeles: Westin Bonaventure giving away free room + dinner via Twitter

How cool is it when a legendary Los Angeles hotel that’s been featured in dozens of movies and TV shows twitters that they are giving away a free room and dinner? The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites has been doing it for several weeks now and today is one of those lucky days. Starting at noon, they will be giving away one free room and dinner via Twitter every hour until 5 p.m. But they won’t hand out the link before then so check on their Twitter page. What’s the catch? It’s for this weekend so don’t enter unless you can make your downtown escape in a few days.

Travel tips: Check out the reviews on Expedia. Previous guests recommend taking the shuttle ($16) versus taxi ($40) if you are coming from the airport. Plus, the DASH takes you around downtown for 25 cents.

Deal tip: If you Twitter, make sure you follow them @thebonaventure to find out when they’ll have their next giveaway.
