If you’re up for a staycation (a trip that’s not really away), or want to put up visiting guests in style, have a look at this. The Millennium Biltmore, in downtown Los Angeles, has a tempting weekender on tap: a 1920s-inspired package that will help you give your 21st century-esque daily stresses a rest.
Deal: Rates start at $309 (pre-tax) for the “85th Anniversary Celebration Package.” This includes a stay in a club room; a bottle of Knob Creek bourbon; a “keepsake rock glass”; a four-course dinner for two at the on-site Smeraldi’s; and free valet parking.
The rate for a club room, one of the higher-priced rooms at the hotel, normally starts at $199 per night (pre-tax). Valet parking is normally $40 per night, and the value of the Smeraldi’s dinner is $100 (excluding tax and tip). It’s about a 10% savings all told, but that doesn’t include the bourbon or the keepsake. To book online, use promotion code “ANNIV.”
When: Now through Dec. 30, 2008.
Connect/disconnect: Wi-Fi is available in all rooms for a charge of $9.95 per day.
Contact: Millennium Biltmore, (866) 866-8086

This is a great hotel with very stylish features that is great for any guest already living or staying in Los Angeles. I think that lobby might explain it all.
