Riders on Legoland California’s Lost Kingdom of Adventure dark ride will travel aboard a 1920s-esque off-road vehicle evocative of a Hudson Motor Car touring sedan.
During the interactive journey, visitors will ride through ancient temple ruins while shooting at animated targets with laser blasters.
To me, the charming classic car, designed to match the dark ride’s Egyptian theme, looks like an Indiana Jones jeep if it were driven by Roger Rabbit.
Vehicle details include a distressed, burnt-orange paint job, spoke wheels and a bedroll attached to a rear cargo container.
A total of four riders per car, two per row, load and unload on the left side of the vehicle.
The Carlsbad kiddie park’s first dark ride is part of a $20-million Land of Adventure expansion set to open in March 2008.

That vehicle looks fantastic! This is just the type of attraction that Legoland could really benefit from. In my opinion, this could be their most intriguing addition in years.
