LAX Wi-Fi news update: Boingo customers covered

News update: Earlier this week we posted about LAX announcing their new full Wi-Fi coverage through T-Mobile. That left Boingo subscribers wondering what would happen to their coverage at LAX.

Road Warrior, a Boingo customer, commented on our post, saying he heard that they’d be allowed to keep their coverage. It turns out that Boingo inked a roaming access agreement with T-Mobile for all the airports that they operate. So, Boingo members in Los Angeles can continue to use their accounts at LAX and ONT.

How to use: When the T-Mobile login pops up, look for the “Roaming Partners” or “Other Accounts” on the website, and sign in as you normally would through Boingo.

Boingo covers 733 airports around the world, including 277 here in the USA, and 11 in California.

The Deal: A $21.95/mo membership includes unlimited usage, except at some undisclosed ‘premium international locations.’ There’s no contract required and currently new subscribers get their 2nd month free.
