LAX welcomes La Brea Bakery and other restaurants; Gladstone’s coming soon

Goods at La Brea Bakery

If you think airplane food (or the lack thereof) leaves something to be desired, at least you now have more edible options in the terminals. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and HMSHost Corp. have announced three new in-airport restaurants that have opened since September: La Brea Bakery, Baja Fresh Express and On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina. Later this fall, Malibu favorite Gladstone’s Seafood is due to arrive (no opening date is yet set).

Listed by terminal, here is where you can find the new restaurants on your way to or from your boarding gate:

Terminal 1 (Southwest Airlines and US Airways)
La Brea Bakery

Terminal 2 (13 international airlines)
La Brea Bakery

Terminal 4 (Delta Airlines)
On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina

Terminal 7 (United Airlines)
La Brea Bakery
Baja Fresh Express

Note: These new eateries are all on the downloadable LAX terminal maps, yet.

Bon appétit, and bon voyage.
