Last-minute summer hotel deals on CheapTickets.com

We’re nearly halfway through summer. So, if you’ve been putting off booking getaways, the “Last-minute Summer Sale” on CheapTickets.com might just persuade you to start planning. The site is advertising significant hotel deals internationally, with rates as low as $29 per night (pre-tax). That deal is for the Sunstyle Suites in Orlando, Florida, by the way, for the night of July 31, 2008.

And, yes, many of the best deals are date-specific, many for midweek and Sunday-night stays. Following are a few examples, though you’ll want to explore the site’s promotion pages for full offerings and details. Prices are pre-tax, and the sale is going on now through Aug. 24, 2008.

Phoenix: For a stay July 25-28, 2008, you’ll pay as little as $53 per night at the Radisson Hotel Phoenix City Cente.

San Diego: Super 8 Motel Mission Valley Qualcomm is offering rates as low as $67 per night for a midweek stay Aug. 12-14, 2008.

Las Vegas: Stay two nights -– Aug.26-28, 2008 –- at the Luxor for $75 per night.

New York: For one night (Aug. 31, 2008) you can pay as little as $174 for a stay at the Flatotel. Or, the same hotel is offering 30% off Sunday stays.
