Cheap SUV rentals in L.A. and Vegas

Not everyone can give up their SUV to save the planet, or their bill at the gas station, for that matter. For those luxury loving road-trippers, here’s a good last-minute SUV rental deal.

Deal: Payless is offering SUV rentals for $35.99/day this weekend in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Why do it: It doesn’t get any cheaper. SUV rental rates usually run $45 - $150/day. Lower prices get you a smaller SUV while higher prices get you a premium rental.

Why not: Too short of notice. Of course you already have plans for this weekend.

The nitty gritty: Offer is good for rentals starting before April 30, 2007. Cannot be combined with other discounts, and subject to availability. Does not include tax and insurance. Local restrictions and black out dates may apply.
