Last minute: $35 for three courses with OpenTable special

A taste of Valentino

Fall squash soup followed by Monterey sand dabs, anyone? Maybe some apple upside-down bread pudding to finish? These are options at Los Angeles restaurant Grace, and, if you act soon, you won’t need to break the budget to sample them or offerings at other select eateries. Tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, is the last day of the Appetite Stimulus Plan promoted by free online restaurant-reservation service OpenTable.com. This is a good deal (better at some restaurants than others) on potentially great meals, so start working up your appetite.

Deal: At participating venues, you can get a three-course lunch for $24 per person, or three-course dinner for $35. This excludes beverages, taxes and tip. Participating restaurants are located in 13 metropolitan areas in the U.S.: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

See this list for the dozens of Southern California-area restaurants — from Ventura to San Clemente, from Santa Monica to Corona — with this offer; it’s a diverse collection that, in addition to Grace, includes Takami Sushi & Robata, BOA Steakhouse, Valentino restaurant and Ciudad.

When: Available now through Friday, Nov. 21, 2008.

Note: Some of the restaurants have this offer going at only lunch or dinner. When being seated, request the “Appetite Stimulus” menu.

Bonus for booking: Reserve through OpenTable.com, and you’ll receive 200 dining rewards points for every booking that you follow through on.
