Las Vegas: Paris Hilton at LAX for Halloween

There’s no need to wait for the weekend to party in Vegas. Join Paris Hilton at the Luxor’s new LAX nightclub on Halloween. During the party there will be a very sexy Halloween costume contest where LAX will give out $20,000 in total cash prizes. LAX, while having little to do with any airport-style décor (except for the lights on the stairs which resemble emergency lighting on a plane) was built to focus on the celebrity hosts.

The nightclub is built theater style around the dance floor and celebrity pit with VIP areas in the balconies above. If you saw Britney’s LAX opening night greeting on YouTube, note that she is standing in what I’m calling the celebrity pit—the center of all the action.

Deal: Rooms at the Luxor are going for $117 Wednesday October 31, 2007. That’s pre-tax and less than what you’d pay for a weekend night, but more than you’d pay on non-holiday weekdays which can be as low as $59/night.

Tip: Call LAX to get your name on the guest list or RSVP. for the Halloween party directly on the LAX website. This at least saves you some rope time and gets you quicker consideration at the door. But there will still be a line of

guest-listers inside the bar area called “Flight”. When I went shortly after LAX opened, I didn’t have to wait much – but I think it helped that I was a woman and alone.

Also, if you miss Paris this time around make your plans to come to LAX and see her and Nicky ring in the New Year for a big New Year’s Eve bash.
