Las Vegas: Harrah’s hotel deals on Facebook

So there I am checking into my Facebook home page after getting back from Thanksgiving travels and there was a $45 Las Vegas hotel deal from Harrah’s in my left sidebar. Facebook recently added ads (so far they’ve been unobtrusive and apparently targeted because I’m part of the Las Vegas network). I’ve also added some travel interests in my profile so between the two, a Sin City hotel deal makes perfect sense and I clicked on it right away. [UPDATE: Offer extended until November 30, 2007]
Deal: Harrah’s is having a post-Thanksgiving “Room Rush.” Rates are as low as $45/room at the Flamingo and Harrah’s midweek based on availability. I found plenty of rooms this week and through December. Rooms at the desirable Caesars Palace started at $100/night. Paris Las Vegas had midweek rooms starting at $79/night, (taxes and fees not included). The catch is that you have to book by tomorrow night (Nov. 25). Get in there quick and you could score a cheap room and be in Vegas in time for the National Finals Rodeo. I’ve been to it before and it’s one hoot-and-holler of a good time.

Tip: The weekend of Dec. 21 and 22 had rooms for only $55 and $65/night at the Flamingo for Friday and Saturday respectively. Now that’s an amazing deal. You’d be hard-pressed to find a hotel room in Vegas on the Four Corners during a weekend for under $75/night.

When: Book by Nov. 25 Nov. 30 for travel through Dec. 28, 2007
