Las Vegas: Alternative pool party for foodies

Summertime means high-energy pool parties in Sin City. Rehab Sundays (pictured) at the Hard Rock is the grand-daddy of the lot, with new comers Tao Beach Club at the Venetian and Ditch Fridays at Palms competing for the sexiest party goers. The Platinum is offering a different kind of poolside entertainment—”Dine and Unwind.” Give the gaming a rest and come watch movies like Ocean’s 11 and Casino Royale. Concert music videos follow.

Deal: The movies and hanging out by the pool are free – and the gourmet snacks will impress even your cheapest friends. Popcorn Tasting in buttered, caramel, and rosemary parmesan flavors ($5); Lobster and Chorizo Tacos ($6); and Micro Burgers ($4 each). Four course pre-fixe dinners are available for guests that want to have a proper meal ($39).
