These are the days when free continental breakfasts don’t raise an eyebrow as far as hotel deals go. I bet there are even some of you out there who expect them. Hyatt doesn’t mind, they get that travelers want more and have created a “Three for Free” deal. A free night, room upgrade and breakfast –- now that’s what we’re talking about.
Deal: Get one free night (based on a minimum stay that varies by property), a one-category room upgrade and full American breakfast for two when you book Hyatt’s “Three for Free” package. I found 18 participating Hyatt hotels including West Coast properties in Lake Tahoe; Monterey and Huntington Beach (pictured), California; Hawaii; Cancun, Mexico; and more. Use special offer code “AX3FF” when you book online or call Hyatt. Note: The free night will be deducted at checkout and daily rates vary by property.
Tested: When I checked out the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, the “Three for Free” package offered the fourth night free. But the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Monterey Resort & Spa offered the third night free Sept. 28–Dec. 19, 2008. If, when you input your dates, the “Three for Free” package doesn’t turn up, go to the “Special Offers” page within the specific hotel’s website and you’ll find out what its rules are.
Tip: If you pay with any American Express Card, you’ll get a welcome amenity and late checkout.
When: For travel through Dec. 19, 2008.
