Mizpee - How to find a clean bathroom

Some of you care, some of you don’t care. I always brace myself before entering a public restroom, especially one at a gas station. Is it going to be clean? You never know. We let down our expectations for bathrooms when we travel overseas, but when we’re at home we expect a little more. MizPee is a mobile service that tells you where the closest clean bathroom is from wherever you are in Los Angeles; San Francisco; Oakland; Portland, Ore.; Manhattan; Chicago; Seattle; Washington, D.C.; and more.

How it works: Direct your mobile browser to www.mizpee.com. A page will come up asking what city you’re in. After you select a city, type in your address and MizPee will return your options and let you know if you’re required to buy anything to use an establishment’s toilet. Business owners should watch their backs — MizPee is listing the best and worst bathrooms too. Check out who’s on the “Wall of Shame” in Los Angeles.

Deals: Believe it or not, they’re going to offer you deals too. Get discounts on sandwiches and spa treatments, free coffee and more. Unfortunately, Los Angeles isn’t listed in their deals section but there are a handful of cities including San Francisco and Seattle.
