It’s rare to meet a traveler that doesn’t have a hotel mishap story. But how often do you get anything back from your unusual experience? This Just In pointed to a contest today on YourNoisyNeighbor.com.
Deal: AmericInn is looking for original written stories and short videos that tell a funny tale about a noisy hotel neighbor. In exchange, they’re handing out ten $100 AmericInn® MasterCard® gift cards and a $5,000 AmericInn MasterCard gift cards to the winners. A clear promotion for AmericInn, but one where a creative traveler can surely benefit.
How do you handle your hotel complaints? Do you write a letter to the hotel manager, post a negative review on hotel review websites, or just never go back to that hotel again?
Contest: Submit your 200-words-or-less story or a one minute-or-less video to YourNoisyNeighbor. The stories have to be family friendly, can’t name the hotel and have to be unpublished. There will be ten stories selected each week and put up the following week for public viewing and judging. The winner of each week turns into a finalist and receives the $100 gift card on their way to competing for the $5,000. Read their contest rules for full details.
When: Enter until 8:59 p.m. PST, Oct. 14, 2007
