I’m having a tough time fathoming that it’s December already. Let alone 12 days before Christmas. Let’s help one another out with gift ideas. I’ll give you some ideas for gifts to give your favorite traveler and, please, help me out and suggest a few that you’ll be purchasing. It doesn’t matter if it’s a tech gadget, travel book, piece of luggage, or gift certificate.
Travel gifts I’d like to buy for myself, but will probably give others:
(There are two on this list I already have, try and guess which two.)
Wallpaper City Guides [NotCot Holiday Gift Guide]
Call Pod [Orbitz Travel Blog]
Moleskine Journals (see this free holiday giveaway) [Moleskinerie]
Earmuff Headphones [This Next]
Apple World Traveler Adapter Kit [Best Buy]
Belkin Pocket Top Notebook Case [Belkin]
F1 Carry-on Bottle Set [Flight 001]
If you want to see a bunch of gift lists for travelers, check out This Next. I like the list from On the Road Again. Also, the Los Angeles Times Travel section has reviewed and road tested lots of travel gear this year. Check out the reviews of laptop bags, alarm clocks, luggage and pens that defy gravity:
Picking the perfect e-book to curl up with
Reviews of five travel alarm clocks
Space-age pens pitted against the trusty No. 2 pencil

No guesses? I’m using the Belkin poptop right now and I never leave home without a Moleskine journal. (or I buy one on the road!) Got my newest one from Wide World books and Maps in Seattle. They also have them at The Standard in downtown L.A.
