Hawaii: Stay an extra night free on Lanai

When you stay on Lanai, the smallest of the main Hawaiian islands visited by tourists, it might feel like your own private resort. Now the Four Seasons Resorts on Lanai will let you stay an extra night for free, so you have more time to play championship golf courses, go snorkeling and scuba diving at Hulopoe Beach or just have another mai tai on the lanai.

Deal: Book a three-night minimum stay at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay or The Lodge at Koele and get the fourth night free. I found that the nightly rates for this package were often the same as the best available online rates just for rooms on the same dates, meaning that your fourth night truly is free. Rooms and suites vary in price from $295 per double for a garden-view room at the highlands lodge to $840 for an oceanfront room at Manele Bay.

When: Valid for stays at The Lodge at Koele from now through December 18th, 2007. Valid for stays at Manele Bay from September 1st through December 18th, 2007.

Why Go: The Four Seasons Resorts on Lanai have just undergone multi-million dollar renovations, so there’s no better time to try the tantalizing luxury they’ve got to offer.

Why Not Go: If you get antsy staying in one place for too long – Lanai is a very small island.

Just tried to book a similar Pleasant Holidays deal [via Travelzoo]

5 Days at the Four Seasons Resort at Manele Bay

with flexible dates out of LAX/greater Southland, departing anytime 14-21 June 2007.

NO LUCK – all the rooms were listed as sold out, at least online. Didn’t have a chance to call.

A friend recently returned from the Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay and can’t stop raving about it.
