Hallelujah! Spa Week is next week

Beverly Hills Aesthetics

Thank you, Daily Candy, for reminding us it’s time for Spa Week. Of all the activities a busy person has to squeeze into his or her hectic day, a massage is one of the nicest to-do’s to schedule. I had fun during Spa Week last year sampling spas in New York, but I didn’t know that Spa Week extends across 18 states and Canada. In California, there are participating spas in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas, Orange County and the Bay Area.

Deal: During Spa Week, signature services at participating spas are priced at $50 (pretax), so that more people can try new spas and different treatments at reduced prices. I signed up for Spa Week on the website (for free) so I could read on to see the participating spas in California. Choose a spa based on the treatment available (each spa offers its own treatment during the special), such as 60-minute Epicurean facials, 45-minute aromatherapy body wraps, 50-minute Swedish massages and more unusual treatments, like a 50-minute Ultrasonic Lipolysis Detoxifying Treatment.

What’s your favorite L.A. spa?

L.A. area spas: There are more than 40 spas to choose from just in the Los Angeles area, including such popular retreats as Beverly Hills Aesthetics (pictured), Skin Haven Spa Studio, the Spa at Equinox Century City, Verabella Skin Therapy, Le Spa at Sofitel, Santa Monica Beach Hotel and many more.

When: April 14-20, 2008

Tip: Get your reservations in as soon as possible. Are you a spa virgin? Spa Week has some etiquette tips for you.

We’re doing a Pumpkin Enzyme Facial and a Detoxifying Seaweed Body Wrap. It’s a great deal at $50 a treatment!
