Google transit info + JetBlue mashups

Google Transit labsTravel Tip: In the ever-expanding Google universe, travelers have more options with the search master. Use Google Transit to plan bus, metro and train trips. So far the cities are limited, but include Burbank, San Diego, and Orange County as well as Austin, Seattle, Pittsburgh and Japan, among others. You can also get basic details by searching “Union Station” for example. A map of L.A. with Metro and train stations pops up with links to Amtrak or MTA.

Deal: Win two round trip tickets to anywhere that JetBlue flies for submitting the best in-flight photo. This photo contest promotes that Google and JetBlue have paired up to show off the in-flight Google Map. Right now JetBlue is the only airline where you can track your flight with a Google Map at the same time you’re getting beverage service during your flight. Check out Channel 13 and turn in your photo by September 3, 2007. The top 25 photos will appear on JetBlue.com on September 10, then customers can vote for their favorite one.
