Golf getaway at Wyndham Orange County

Golfers, if you need an excuse to treat yourself to a getaway on the green, here it is. Wyndham Orange County in Costa Mesa, California, is offering to put you up and get you putting, with the following package.

Deal: The “Monarch Beach Golf Links Package” includes lake-view accommodations, 18 holes of golf and rentals of Callaway clubs and a cart, a 5 p.m. checkout; and coupons redeemable at restaurants and shops in the area (valued at $250). The package rates are $239 per night (pre-tax) for single occupancy, $419 for double occupancy. You’ll play golf at the oceanfront Monarch Beach Golf Links in nearby Dana Point; the course is 22 miles from the hotel, and you are responsible for your own transportation.

After reserving the package (which you can do online or over the phone), call Wyndham’s guest services department to reserve tee times.

When: This offer is valid for stays now through June 19, 2009.

Connect/disconnect: High-speed wireless Internet is available in guest rooms for $9.95 per night. Wyndham Rewards customers get the service for free.
