'Globe Trekker' Web chat at 7 a.m. PST Friday

Friday morning, rise early, grab a coffee and get ready to chat about adventure travel. For a glimpse behind the scenes at the popular adventure travel TV series “Globe Trekker,” tune in to a live Web chat with Scott Welsh, a director and cameraman for the show. Based in London, Welsh boasts an impressive travel résumé, having worked with Discovery, BBC World and National Geographic. Now, with “Globe Trekker” — Pilot Productions’ series for the adventure travel-minded –- he shoots favorite presenters such as Ian Wright and Justine Shapiro exploring far-flung locales the world over. During the chat, ask him your burning questions about the show, his life behind the camera, or whatever else tickles your travel fancy.
