Condor is a low-cost carrier that we found through ETN that flies from the U.S. to Europe. Flights can be as low as $129 one-way, before taxes, but departure destinations are restricted to Las Vegas, NV.
Deals: A non-stop flight from Las Vegas to Frankfurt in May is $428 including taxes and fees. If you plan ahead, a round-trip ticket to Las Vegas can be as low as $100 - $140 depending on what airport you fly out from. Adding the leg to Vegas isn’t so bad if you’re flexible considering the long flight is non-stop. Kayak’s lowest-priced fares from LAX to Frankfurt on similar dates are $687 round-trip.
Why Go: This is a cheap way to get to Europe when other round-trip fares from the West Coast are soaring above $700.
Why Not: It’s a pain to not be able to depart from the Los Angeles area, let alone miss out on frequent flier miles from your loyalty program.
