Business travelers rejoice. Big thanks to Guy Kawasaki for being the first to tell me about JetBlue’s brand new in-flight e-mail and IM service. JetBlue Airways has teamed up with Yahoo and Research in Motion (RIM) to be the first U.S. airline to test the new BetaBlue wireless service.
The test will begin on Tuesday when passengers will be able to send and receive Yahoo e-mail and instant messages from their laptops and some BlackBerrys including the 8820 and Curve 8320 models.
This is the first I’ve heard of the service, so I’ll let you know when I find out what the first flight with the e-mail will be.
Post any details you have or rumors you’ve heard here and we’ll investigate.
