Bank of America recently sent a large group of analysts to the Four Seasons Westlake Village to sort out the details before its proposed acquisition of Countrywide Financial Corp., the country’s largest mortgage provider.
One would guess the B of A employees enjoyed a discounted Four Seasons corporate rate. For the rest of us, I found some deals at the Four Seasons and at neighboring Westlake Village hotels.
Deal: When I went to find out how much rooms cost at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, I found that they’re offering a “Stay Longer-Third Night Free” package for rooms starting at $425/night (pre-tax).
There were also some rooms in January available for $265 per night (pre-tax). Weekend and holiday rates start at $225 per night (pre-tax). Call to find out when rooms will be available if you don’t like punching in dates trial-and-error-style on the website.
Here are some alternate hotel options for Westlake Village:
Westlake Village Inn — from $164/night (pre-tax)
Hyatt Westlake Plaza — from $149 (pre-tax) [Hotels.com]

I don’t care what the service or ambiance is like, anyone who would spend $425 per night to stay in the Agoura/Westlake area is seriously a dope.
And I say that as someone who grew up there.
