Fly to Honolulu, Hawaii, for $235 (that’s not a typo)

Last month, we blogged about some incredibly cheap flights to Oahu, which came to $245 after taxes for a round-trip fare. If you missed that deal, don’t worry. You can now save even a little more. But don’t drag your feet. These seats are going fast.

Deal: American Airlines is offering round-trip airfares from LAX to Honolulu, Hawaii, for rates starting at $235 (including tax) for travel between now and June 7, 2009. No advance purchase is required, though you must book a minimum stay of three nights.

Check out your dates through the Orbitz link provided on the Airfare Watchdog notice on this deal. At time of research, the ultra-low fare was available on American most frequently this week and then sporadically throughout the rest of the month and early June.

Though this is a “seven days per week” deal, I did not see weekend departures/arrivals for this fare.
