Father’s Day travel: East Coast baseball stadium tour of Fenway Park, Camden Yards, Nationals Park

New York, New York: Yankee Stadium

Obviously you don’t need an occasion like Father’s Day to take part in a fun MLB stadium and baseball game tour. Big League Tours puts together 10 baseball trip packages across the nation and throughout the season. If you are thinking of the end-all, be-all of Father’s Day gifts for a baseball-loving dad, check out their East Coast Big League Trip starting June 19, 2008.

East Coast Father’s Day Tour: The trip starts off with Camden Yards in Baltimore and ends with Fenway Park in Boston and includes meeting Major League ballplayers, getting some dugout time and special access to the stadiums (tours of Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium) and batting practice. You’ll even see a game in the new Nationals Park in D.C. So far 15 people are signed up and the tour will be capped at 40 people. (Games and times after the jump).

Deal or no deal? $4,595 for one person (no tax) and includes all games, tours, transportation between games and hotel accommodations for all nights. The tour becomes considerably less expensive when you bring two people: $5,990 for two people (down to about $3,000 per person if you were splitting it). If that’s a bit steep, consider one of their shorter tours.
