Live Oak Festival, Santa Barbara; June 13-15, 2008 - This camping festival will feature a vast medley of music including traditional and jazz. The line-up includes Nanci Griffith, Poncho Sanchez, Dan Hicks and the Hotlicks, and the Derailers.
Koroneburg European Old World Festival, Corona, California; May 10-June 15, 2008 - Dig up your best noble shirt, or other 16th century garb, then head over to this Renaissance fest.
Huck Finn Jubilee Country & Bluegrass Festival, Victorville, California; June 13-15, 2008 - The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band headlines this weekend-long event with music, games and camping.
San Diego County Fair, Del Mar, California; June 14-July 6 (except June 16 and 23), 2008 - Check out the ostrich and camel racing, a special spectacle for this opening weekend.
Wooden Boat Festival, San Diego, California; June 14-15, 2008 - At this event, see a vast array of handcrafted boats, ride a steamboat, learn about sail-making, and more.

Thanks for writing about the ideas for fathers day.It’s been quite a day so far,someone told me about an event that’s going to take place the day after fathers day.They told me about this woman from India who goes around hugging people. She is the “Hugging Saint” anyways ,I was looking into going to check out what she does in Los Angeles next week. It seems like she is making some people angry with her choice of venue.Maybe you can make something interesting out of this:
