Family & kids: ‘Revolutionary’ BabyBjorn travel crib

Gear tip: DadLabs went to the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas and gives an on-the-spot video review and set up demonstration of the new BabyBjorn Travel Crib Light. He calls the pop-up, 11lb travel crib “revolutionary”. Moms, dads: Do you agree?

After watching the video, I thought that this could very well make travel more accessible (and tolerable) for parents of infants who are less naturally inclined to making travel a part of family life.

So, besides via a hand-me-down, where can you find this lightweight pop-up travel crib?

The Swedish company BabyBjorn has a store locator on their website with more than 30 listings in the greater Los Angeles area. I also found the crib available for $250 on Chit Chat Baby while BabysRUs had nothing like it.

Any recommendations for must-have baby travel gear that you couldn’t have lived without on your early adventures?
