News tip: If you’re flying Air France this week, double check your flight status. Flight Attendants with the European airline are on strike October 25 – 29, 2007. Up until 1pm (CEST), Air France operated 687 flights out of the 747 flights that were scheduled, and intend to operate 70% of all flights.
3 Things to know about Air France:
1. Air France started flying nonstop flights between LAX and London Heathrow this August.
2. Have a pilot program to use RFID luggage tracking.
3. Earn double VoyageurRewards points on flights to India before November. 30. 2007. Both Tempo (Economy class) and l’Espace Affaires (Business class) count for the rewards. You can earn enough points for a free round-trip economy flight to Europe with the purchase of only one business class ticket from the U.S. to India.
