Ensenada vacation rental for $150/night

Rentalo logoHave you browsed Rentalo yet? It’s a website full of vacation rentals all over the globe. I was checking it out from the traveler’s point of view — searching for Mexican villas and condos — but property owners who rent their homes out should check it out too.

Deal: I found Casa Tranquila Del Sur, a 4,000-square-foot gated property 30 minutes from Ensenada on a hidden port. If you were hoping for a large balcony overlooking the Pacific, this place has two of them. An attached 600-square-foot casita with a king bed, fireplace and panoramic view of the ocean is perfect for a couple and rents for $150 per night. If you want the whole house (including casita) the charge is $400 per night plus a $50 cleaning fee for up to six people. Rentalo shows 11 photos for this property and it’s easy to see the rental is big enough to be shared.

Tip: Don’t want to leave the country? Search Rentalo for properties in the United States, including California. I found 20 properties in La Jolla.

I just returned from a cruise trip that went from San Diego to Los Cabos. We stopped in Ensenada for a few hours and it was just awesome! The city’s Carnival was taking place. Music, drinks and great food all around… too bad we had to depart, but we will be back pretty soon.
