Airline news | Don’t you wish you were flying Emirates yesterday? Flight 216 passengers were given chocolates at check-in before boarding the first nonstop flight between Los Angeles and Dubai. But forget about the chocolates — I’m dreaming about traveling in one of the eight luxe suites in private class. Business Travel/Corporate Travel news | American Express Business Travel will launch a new Social Network on Friday.
It’s called BusinessTravelConneXion. I’ll keep my eye on the launch. I’m looking forward to seeing how the Benchmarking Tools work — especially info on how hotel prices have fluctuated this week.
Budget Travel | The Happy Hotelier tipped us off to a list of 50 of the world’s best budget hotels from Britain’s Daily Telegraph. Have you stayed at any of them? Lots of American chain motels made the list, so chances are good you have slept at one at some point in your budget-conscious life.
