Baseball season is coming to a close. There are 14 more home games left in regular season. Make sure you go see the Dodgers one more time in case these are Manny’s last at bats in Dodger blue. The legendary Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown L.A. has a Los Angeles Dodgers package that extends a day at the ballpark into some sweet overnight digs perfect for celebrating a win.
Deal: $199 L.A. Dodgers package includes:
> Deluxe accommodations for one night
> Two MVP Loge tickets at Dodger Stadium ($90 for a pair of tickets for other hotel guests)
> Complimentary American buffet breakfast
> Complimentary overnight parking at the Club (normally $8.90 per night with in/out access)
> Complimentary Wi-Fi (free to all hotel guests)
> Use of LAAC legendary Athletic Facilities (used only by hotel guests and members)
> Complimentary baseball-themed room amenities
I tested the deal for Wednesday, Sept. 16 (a 12:10 p.m. day game vs. Pittsburgh). I found the special advertised on the website, but could not find a way to access the deal from the online reservations. When I called the hotel, they were very friendly. This package is available based on when they get their tickets. As of Tuesday they had tickets for games Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Sept 1-3). Since I was interested in the game on Sept. 16, he took my number and said he’d call me back. They usually get the tickets the week before. I also saw on the website that hotel guests have access to buying tickets through the Athletic Club for $90 for a pair of tickets. Hotel rooms on the night of Sept. 16 were priced starting at $140 for rooms with either a king or queen bed.
