Disneyland summer deal: Stay 3 nights, get 2 nights free — plus park entrance too with a hopper ticket

The old saying that you have to give to get rings true with this new Disneyland deal. But you might be surprised at just how much Disneyland is willing to give you in return for a trip you might already be planning. Here’s the deal: Buy a three-night package, with three-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Bonus Tickets, at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels or any of the Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotels, and two consecutive free nights will be added to the hotel stay and two consecutive days added to the ticket.

“Disney rarely gives anything away. But this year, as we all know, is different. Like every other theme park, Disney is doing anything it can to get people in the door. And the longer they stay, the more they spend,” said Los Angeles Times staff writer and Funland blogger Brady MacDonald.

How much will it cost? Prices will vary. I tested the deal on Disneyland’s website for the second week in June arriving on a Sunday and staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel (Best Western Pavilions, Anaheim) for a family of three (two adults, one child), and the price was less than $940 for hotel and tickets for six days and five nights.

When: Book this offer by Aug. 11, 2009, for arrivals at all three Disneyland Resort Hotels — Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa — for travel starting between April 1 and Sept. 26, 2009, and ending by Oct. 1. Beginning May 1, the offer is also available at participating local Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotels. Travel for these hotels must also start by Sept. 26 and finished by Oct. 1.
