Disneyland free for fire heroes

Mickey Mouse thanks firefighterSouthern California firefighters, law enforcement officers and rescue workers can get a free three-day Park Hopper admission to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Nov. 13 through Feb. 28, 2008.

Eligible emergency personnel living in ZIP codes 90000 to 93599 can purchase up to five additional three-day tickets for family and friends at $56 apiece (a deep discount from the usual $139-$189 admission).

Block-out dates: Nov. 22-25, Dec. 8-9, Dec. 25-Jan. 6 and Feb. 15-17.

Disney recently donated $2 million to fire relief efforts.

In related news, Legoland donated 1,000 tickets and $12,000 in Lego toys to the Salvation Army for distribution to victims of the recent Southern California wildfires.
