Disney Dream CMO poll remains open for voting

While our Disney Dream Chief Magic Official (CMO) online poll remains open for voting, I wanted to give you an update as the responses top 4,000 and show no sign of slowing down. (Cast your vote.)

Eric Kidwell and Justin Muchoney are tied with 1,035 votes apiece (at least when I pulled the numbers). Karrie Duncan has surged in the last 24 hours to pull close and threatens to overtake the leaders. (Read profiles of the Dream CMO finalists.)

Early front-runners Tripp West and Andy Peterson have dropped back considerably into the middle of the pack with Daisy Francisco and Meggin Weaver trailing in Ron Paul territory. Also-rans David Driver, Peter Yu and Nicole Lee have barely registered a blip.

So far, 13 of the Top 20 finalists have turned up in Disney chat rooms promoting their candidacy. The winner of the official Disney poll serves as a goodwill ambassador at Disney parks around the world.

Only the first 10 candidates to come forward publicly were included in our unscientific poll. Finalists Amanda Flood, Patrick Hurd and Michael Szapkiw announced their candidacies after the poll opened and were not included in the balloting. (Watch the Dream CMO video résumés.)
