NEWS | At the moment, travelers are barely affected by the Delta-Northwest merger, but in the long run will passengers see higher fares and bad service? Peter Pae talks to Richard Gritta, professor of finance and transportation at the University of Portland in Oregon about what we can expect. The deal still needs approval from the U.S. Justice Department and might face a fight from the labor unions and Rep. Jim Oberstar (D-Minn.), the chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
