For the new year, a new name.
The 184-room hotel that was to be called the Setai San Diego has changed its name to the Sè San Diego and is offering introductory prices.
The deal: For $279 a night, you’ll get a standard room at the newly opened hotel in the financial district plus a $100 daily spa credit, breakfast for two and free valet parking (usually $36 a night). The offer is good through Feb. 28, except for Feb. 13 to 16. Standard rooms are expected to run $500 a night after the introductory period.
For info: Sè San Diego, 1047 5th Ave., San Diego; (619) 515-3000, www.sesandiego.com. Ask for the “Preview Package.”
